Introduction to the Ages & Stages Questionnaires (ASQ-3)

DESCRIPTION: This training will teach new users how to use the ASQ-3, a parent - completed child development screening tool, to identify developmental concerns during the crucial first five years of life. 

A link to the online training will be provided to registered attendees closer to the event date. 2.5 CEs available for LMFTs, LCSWs, LPCCs, LEPs, and RNs

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

Participants will be able to:

• Explain the importance and purpose of developmental screening for children ages 0-5
• Engage parents about their children’s development with the Ages and Stages Questionnaire (ASQ-3) using respectful and effective communication
• Describe how to administer and score the Ages and Stages Questionnaire (ASQ-3)
